The subs we ordered were delicious and we were able to customize to our individual taste with plenty available options. The staff were friendly and efficient and the places, although small was super clean and pleasant.
Food was great as always! Hadn't been there in a while due to lots of work and travel but the staff and food never disappoint.
I got the small Philly Cheesesteak with onions, green pepper and mushrooms and provolone cheese. The steak was substantial. They were a little stingy on the cheese and the peppers and mushrooms sandwiches. Good I don't know if it's the best but I would definitely go back and order it again.
It is a Miami classic !!! Almost as good as the Cuban sandwich. I have been going to hungry bear since I'm in high school. I used to go to their Kendall location next to Miami dade college. I absolutely love all their subs. It is always cook fresh and feel so homemade. Good to have a Miami old classic that I can keep on coming back to.
This sub spot is perfect for a quick lunch. It is in the middle of a shopping center. Be careful with the parking because the spots are really tight in the shopping center. The pro tip is to park in the back. This is the type of place where you place your order get a number and then get called back up for your food. Don't be discouraged if there is a line because it moves quickly. When the number buzzes you can go back up to the front and get a bag of chips and a drink. The place is clean and it is easy to find the flow of the place. I ordered the chicken ceaser sanwhich. I love how they chop everything up and put it on the bread. I liked that they ask you about the toppings and the sauces at the beginning so that you get exactly what you want. Overall, I thought that the portions were a good size, the food was fresh and delicious, but I did end up paying 18 dollars for a sandwich a bag of chips and a soda.
Hungry bear has consistently provided the best subs in Miami since I was a kid. This location is always clean, well lit and well staffed with friendly professionals. Subs are cooked to perfection and ready efficiently. Prices are reasonable. The honey mustard chicken with grilled onions and mushrooms and provolone on white is my personal favorite. Even the salads look delicious. You decide but I guarantee it's going to be delicious!
Listen! The other reviews did not lie! This sandwich was so good. The location is right around the corner from my hotel. I went inside to get a sub lunch and it was a whole vibe! There was a group guys dining inside talking, laughing...having a great time! I'm not a cheesesteak person and had a hard time deciding which sub to get. I settled for a large cheese steak and onions. They ask you what you want on the sub and my sub was ready within minutes! My only complaint is I did not receive a receipt. I had to look at my bank activity to determine how much I was charged...$13.11 for a large sub. I DEVOURED that sandwich.
